Paul has been with aha! since its inception in 2017, leading the company and directing the product and service offerings. For over 25 years, his enthusiasm for superior user experiences and the creative use of technology has fueled his digital marketing and advertising career. Paul's goal is to share this drive with aha!'s clients, exploring transformative new ideas that delight consumers and patients.

As an avid runner and cyclist, Paul is a keen user of the latest consumer health and fitness technology, including fitness wearables and platforms (you can follow him on Strava). He appreciates when this technology seamlessly integrates into the activities he enjoys, amplifying the overall experience. It’s these aha! moments of inspiration that Paul aims to build upon in his work.

With over 20 years of technology leadership for some of the world’s largest brands (including Volvo, Nike, Pepsi, and Microsoft) Tim leads and develops the overall technology strategy at aha. He provides thought leadership on technical issues to clients, aiming to build collaborative relationships with their internal teams to overcome challenges and train them to sustain their investments going forward. Tim takes pride in mentoring and overseeing the work of aha!’s Developers, ensuring that the digital experiences delivered meet and surpass all expectations.

Tim and his wife, Kelli, are the parents of three children, including twins, so of course simplifying healthcare is important to him. In the rare moments he has to himself, he crafts custom wood furniture, plays golf, and enjoys smoking meats and other delicious things. He also takes photos.

Sam directs Experience Design at aha! with a passion for delivering transformative work that benefits both providers and their patients. With more than 20 years in creative technology and experience design, he always finds the sweet spot that merges the business’s requirements with the end-users’ desires. He does this through in-depth user research, helping clients articulate what they really need, and, of course, superior experience design.

Knowing that there is an enormous amount of data and information on our personal healthcare, but patients still often feel confused and powerless within siloed behemoth systems, Sam is motivated by his determination to bring more transparency and simplicity to healthcare. In turn, this helps patients become better-educated partners with their providers and, ultimately, healthier and happier consumers.

With more than 20 years of experience in digital project leadership and delivery at diverse organizations, Cindy doesn’t simply deliver experiences. She delivers sustainability — ensuring the client can keep up the same quality and magnitude once the project is handed over. At aha!, she solves for the cure, not the symptom. Fueled by curiosity, energy, and determination, Cindy quickly picks up the knowledge needed for any project and puts together the teams that succeed in delivering.

At home, Cindy loves her Peloton because it feels like you're riding together, though you're alone. When it comes to healthcare, we too often feel alone and left wondering, what happens next? Cindy works at aha! because she wants her family — and everyone — to feel partnered with their healthcare. We're all in this together.

Scott joins aha! following a long career in healthcare (including significant time at Northwestern Medicine), technology, and consulting, leads the expansion of aha! 's footprint within the healthcare industry, including fostering new client relationships and strengthening the bonds with our existing clients. He does this by posing a deep understanding of our client's unique needs and motivations and creating an innovative approach to exceeding them. His goal is to work with our clients to activate the investments they have made and create better experiences.

Scott is a husband and father to three daughters who remind him that technology, culture, and slang are changing rapidly, and it's a struggle to keep up. So, solutions and experiences must be robust to accommodate a spectrum of people and their comfort levels. Their activities, especially ice hockey and soccer, also take his family all over the US and Canada.

As the driver of Content Strategy for aha!, Bob puts his years of experience in developing flexible and sustainable content solutions to work for our clients, creating and maintaining robust content systems that deliver extraordinary user experiences, achieve business goals, and are built to last.

Outside of his role at aha!, Bob enjoys writing fiction, which relates to his work because designing content as a content strategist and creating narratives as a fiction writer both tap into the need to understand the audience and work within defined structures and expectations to create positive and memorable experiences. Bob is also an avid cyclist who captains a team that rides in various health-related charity fundraisers, including Moveable Feast of Maryland's Ride for the Feast and Bike MS in Washington, D.C.

With a passion for (and a lot of experience in) creating products that are simple to use and maintain, Marc is an active contributor to both front- and back-end architecture. He loves working with the creative and technology teams at aha! to develop meaningful digital experiences that always hit the bullseye. Marc is inspired by the people he works with — the breadth of combined knowledge makes collaborating with his colleagues a joy.  And, of course, collaboration is the heart of every project at aha.

While Marc has been smitten with computers and programming since he first used an Apple IIc (the 7.5 lb “laptop”) in the 80s, his first love is music. He studied piano and later learned to play by ear, picking up guitar, bass, and drums. Marc believes that, much like music, a well-orchestrated design and codebase can be something truly beautiful.

Kelly has over 15 years of experience managing a wide variety of digital products within CPG, financial, retail and pharmaceuticals.

As an experienced technical project manager, she has the knowledge and capability to plan, implement and monitor projects from start to finish. She values efficient communication and has a unique combination of strategic planning, problem solving and analytical skills.

Kelly has worked at various agencies including Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Genuine Interactive and PrizeLogic. She has managed large-scale digital projects for clients such as Domino's Pizza, Pepsi, Kraft Foods, MillerCoors, Victoria's Secret, Farmington Bank, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Shire Pharmaceuticals.

Drew is an architect for front-end solutions at aha! He works to create clean codebases and frameworks that execute the clients’ needs and wants. He also collaborates closely with UX and Design to ensure that the product provides the best possible experience for the end user. In short, Drew turns aha!’s designs into code-based reality.

Outside of work, Drew strives to challenge himself, spending his free time learning woodworking skills, new songs on the guitar, and rad moves on his skateboard. Similarly, he finds fulfillment in his work at aha! through overcoming the technical challenges of his projects and constantly expanding his understanding of front-end technologies. He takes pride knowing that his work ensures any patient can engage with the experiences he creates and, therefore, utilize the providers’ services to keep them well.

As a Experience Designer at aha!, Destinee thrives on building useful, thoughtful experiences that marry user needs with business goals. With an affinity for creative problem-solving and collaboration, she strives to deliver solutions that help make healthcare more approachable and easier to utilize. Through employing a variety of user research methods, and working closely with clients to define opportunities, constraints and outcomes, she works to build and iterate on designs that effectively serve both patients and healthcare clients.
